Review: Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot, translucent powder

Soap and Glory is one of those brands that I feel has been around for ages and you usually receive/ give as a Christmas present when its on offer at Boots.

When they released their make up line I was pretty excited to try some of their products.
If I'm being honest, I love their stuff mainly due to the witty names and puns they use on their packaging. (I'm very easily impressed)

(£12)

The pressed powder I chose is a translucent powder, designed for all skin types and tones and mattifies your make up without it being cakey.
This powder is so so good. I'm always very wary of powders that say translucent as a lot of the time they come up very white and often cakey.
But this is legit translucent. LEGIT. I usually put it on after foundation and sometimes for touch ups during the day if I'm getting a bit shiny.

The powder is light weight, really easy to blend and lasts on your face for aaaages.
It comes with a handy mirror and little sponge applicator; but I prefer to use a brush so I can really blend it in properly.

I'll admit, the first time I used this I was a little bit on the drunk side and over applied with the sponge and ended up looking a bit ghosty. But after some sober application and actually looking at my face without vodka eyes its a perfect product.

So yeah, that's it! 10/10 product that I can't fault and you can use it for any skin tone.
