Empties #3: Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation, Nip + FabDark Circle Fix Eye Cream, Illamasqua Under Eye Concealer

Well aren't you all lucky...2 posts in 2 days! (Don't get excited, let's be honest, I won't keep this up)

But like I said in my previous post, I've used up a tonne of products recently so I'll hopefully start posting these more regularly.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in 48 Sun Beige

I LOVE this foundation. For a drug store foundation this is amazing and honestly rivals some of the higher end ones I've tried.

My main problem with drug store foundations is the colour match. I'm usually very lucky to find a shade that has the right balance of orange/yellow/ beige tones, let alone finding one that actually matches my skin tone. This shade was a perfect match for me, so hells yeah so far.

The coverage is amazing. It covered all my blemishes, dark scarring and red marks and left me with flawless looking skin. My pores looked smaller and my skin looked radiant.
I'm honestly so impressed with this foundation and once I've worked my way through the spares I currently have, I can see myself returning to this one.
I would give this a 4/5

Nip + Fab Dark Circle Fix Eye Cream

I bought this eye cream from ASOS on a whim because it was on sale and I needed an eye cream. (Remember, prevention is better than a cure, you may as well try and get rid of the bags, potential crows feet and dark circles now then trying to get rid of it when you're older)

This brand is probably most known for being plastered all over Kylie Jenner's Instagram...personally Kylie, I don't get it.

This cream was nice and it suited my sensitive eyes well, but it didn't really do anything. My dark circles remained the same, and it wasn't as moisturising as I wanted it to be. But hey, I used it up, had no problem with it, it was just a bit meh.
I would give this a 2/5

Illamasqua Under Eye Concealer in UC 215

I got this in one of Illamasqua's amazing sales and it worked out like £5 or something ridiculous???

I was hoping this would be a lot like Bobbi Brown's corrector where it would be quite thick in consistency and have a high coverage, especially for my under eyes.

The colour match was perfect (considering i did this online, snaps for me) and had the perfect balance of orange and beige tones. (My fellow WOC, if you're struggling to find face make up to match your skin tone, hit Illamasqua up. Trust me)
The consistency of this was quite thin, so it wasn't my Bobbi Brown hopes and dreams. The coverage was decent. I don't think I would ever pay full price for this. And since it was quite thin I felt like I used more of this up. I definitely finished this a lot earlier than I expected!
Overall, a good product but I wish it was thicker so it would last longer.
I would give this a 3/5
