Haul: Superdrug, Boots & more

So my sister has had my camera whilst she went away on holiday, so I haven't managed to take photos of all the new products I've acquired (an embarrassing amount, ofc) - so this is just an accumulation of products I've bought from Superdrug, Boots & a black hair shop in SE London.

Dove Advanced Hair Series
So, I recently went to see my mum and I used some of her Dove hair products whilst I was there and ohhhhh my gosh my hair was so soft and silky and voluminous after I used it! The Dove hair care range was all on 3 for £10 so I decided to get a shampoo, conditioner and a hair 'BB cream'. The shampoo is one for dry, course hair and the conditioner is for dry, damaged hair. The BB cream is like a leave in conditioner that is meant to repair damaged hair. I'm excited to try out these and see what kinda difference it makes on the condition of my hair.

Barry M Nail Paints
Lord knows I don't need anymore nail polishes, but I've realise I don't have anything like either of these shades. I decided to go for 'Nude' which is like a sheer peachy neutral shade that I think is really subtle and classy. And then Chai which is one of their 'Gelly Hi Shine' polishes and is a nice flat toned grey. I think both of these shades will be really nice for the Autumn & Winter months

Collection Extreme Mascara
I've nearly finished up my current mascara, and this Collection one was on offer for £1.99! I love the Collection lengthening mascara (read more about it here!) so I figured I'd try this one out.

I live in SE London and theres a black hair shop there which has a tonne of products catered towards black hair. I discovered there was a tonne of Indian products there too which I recognised my nan and grandparents using. There's also loads of make up that is catered towards POC, so I instantly fell in love!

Black Seed Soap
So I was talking to a friend at work about the discolouration on my skin and he suggested using Black Seed Soap as it's exfoliating and is known to help fade redness and dark marks. I did a bit of research and found out that black seed is an antioxidant, it can help with the regeneration of damaged skin, psoriasis, and eczema. Very intrigued to see if this will make a difference on my scarring and dark marks!

Henna & Placenta Hair Mask
Ok, more than anything, these just intrigued me. Henna does amazing things for my hair and I love the smell of it, so I was really swayed by these. They're aimed towards dry and damaged hair so we'll see how these turn out!

Maybelline had a 3 for 2 offer on and I needed a new concealer and I couldn't decide on just one - hey, I'm always going to need a concealer!

Anti Age Eraser
I've used this one before and I love it, it's great for hiding my dark under eye circles whilst providing a little highlight and just making me look a bit perkier. You can read my review for it here!

Super Stay 24 Hour Concealer
This is the one I'm currently using and I loveeee it. It has amazing staying power, great coverage and it doesn't crease over the day. The shade selection is very rubbish, I think this is the 'medium' shade that they stock. It's a doe foot applicator which makes for very easy application.

Fit Me Concealer
I've heard really good things about the Fit Me range by Maybelline - their shades seem to go darker than the other Maybelline products too! Again this is a doe foot applicator, so I'm looking forward to see how this one fairs!

Loreal True Match Powder Foundation
So, I haaaaaated the Loreal True Match foundation - their shade range was awful, it had glitter in it (????), the coverage made me look ashy and it oxidised on my face very quickly. Soooo I have no idea why I got the powder version. In all fairness, I swatched a million different powders in Boots that day and the majority of them weren't suited for my skin colour with the kinda coverage I wanted. I'm intrigued to see how this one lasts!

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I am a hugeeeee fan of this blending sponge and this is the 2nd one I've repurchased (mine is VERY loved) - I think this sponge is a really good dupe for the beauty blender - it works in the same way, that you dampen it before you use it. Theres a flat side which is suited for your face, and then a pointed edge so you can get into the nooks and cranny's of your face - perfect for concealer and blending out cream contour!

And that's everything I've accumulated over the past month or so - I'll no doubt be doing empties or review posts for most of these.

If you've got any questions or suggestions, then feel free to drop me a comment!
