5 - 5 Goals of 2016

It's that time of the year when the NEW YEAR NEW ME facebook statuses start coming out - and the moany ones shortly follow. I'm personally not someone who set myself new year resolutions as I feel like they never stick - I usually set myself some goals for the entirety of the year as I feel like they're more realistic for me to achieve.
Some of them are general things like read 10 books this year and some of them are a bit more personal like 'say 'no' more often'

So, for anyone interested (feel free to skip this post!) below are my 5 goals of 2016.

One.
Dear Diary
Every year I always like to think that I'll have the time and the patience to write a diary entry every day of the year. I had 100's when I was younger, and I'd get to around March and every entry after that would be sporadic. My mum got me a 5 year Q&A diary for Christmas which I'm in love with. You've probably already seen these over the internet - but it's basically a 5 year diary where each day has a question. You answer the question in a couple of lines, and then repeat for the next 5 years. I love this idea so much as it means I don't have to commit to a whole page about my day (especially if I've had a super boring day) but I get to look back at it and see what I was thinking that year.




Two.
10 books
One of my 2015 goals was to read 10 books which I achieved (if you're interested in what books I read halfway through the year and my thoughts, then you can read my post here!) I was a proper little bookworm when I was younger and then life took over and I got busy and lazy. I want to make sure I keep it up and read a minimum of 10 books in 2016.

Three.
Ram Etc
I'm super proud of how far this blog has come, especially the state it was in at the beginning of the year! It's been a really good distraction for me, and I'm able to talk about things I love and hopefully help out and give some good advice. I want to make sure that I keep it up and carry on blogging and (maybe!) start vlogging in the future.


Four.
Holiday
I haven't been on holiday since 2010 - my last holiday was before I went to uni and was with my family in Florida and Las Vegas (an excellent holiday cause Disney World). I've promised to myself that I need to get away this year. Even if it's is something small or short, I just feel the need to explore and travel and go somewhere new and exciting.

Five.
Hydrate
I drink a minimum of 2 litres of water a day to help with skin, digestion, all that good stuff. BUT I am rubbish at hydrating my skin. I've got my face covered - but I'm so lazy when it comes to moisturising my body. After Christmas I've gone through my toiletries and I have approx 1000 body creams, butters and lotions, and my aim for 2016 is to make sure I don't get any scaly skin. I don't know why I hate doing it so much, I think it's cause after a shower the cream/lotion/butter makes my skin cold, and I don't like doing it in the mornings because my clothes feel sticky.

And that's it! I'll no doubt add to my list of 2016 goals and add more things that I think I need to achieve.
