Empties #12: Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder, Sleek Corrector & Concealer Palette, Lush Cosmetics American Cream Conditioner

It's that time again! I've kind of put myself on a bit of a spending ban as I've got soooooo many products to finish up and review for you all!

On today's list we have Bourjois' Healthy Balance Powder in #55, Sleek Corrector & Concealer Palette in #4 and Lush Cosmetics American Cream Conditioner.

Bourjois - Healthy Balance Mattifying Powder in #55
I really like Bourjois as a drug store brand - I've only ever used their lip products and nail varnishes (if you wanna see my review and swatches on some of their Glossy Sticks then click here!) I've never delved into their face/skin products as the shade selection always seems to be from very pale to pale. Correct me if I'm wrong, but every Bourjois counter I've seen only has a shade range of about 3 colours. I decided to try out their healthy balance mattifying powder, as I've heard good things and the shade I chose was fairly well suited for me. (I'm pretty sure this was the darkest shade though)
This powder was ooookaaaaayyy. It wasn't anything amazing, and I probably wouldn't repurchase just because I think there are better mattifying powders out there. I also seemed to go through it really quickly - I didn't necessarily use any more product than usual, but I hit pan a lot quicker than normal!
Overall, I'd give this product a 3/5

Sleek - Corrector & Concealer Palette in #4
So, I've spoken about this corrector and concealer palette by Sleek before (if you missed the post - click here!) My feelings towards this little trio has completely changed after I got further use out of it. It's so so pants. I'm a big fan of Sleek products, but after I used this for a few days I fell completely out of love with it. It retails for around £7.99 and I used up both the concealer and corrector in about a week - so not worth the price in my opinion! Additionally I found the concealer creased really badly under my eyes and the setting powder just made me look a bit cakey. The palette itself was really messy to use - the product went all over the place an the powder was quite dusty so it would flick into the neighbouring cream products. Overall not worth it for the money and generally just a disappointment from them!
Overall I'd give this a 1.5/5

Lush Cosmetics - American Cream Hair Conditioner
This is another product that I'm really disappointed in. Again, I'm a big fan of Lush Cosmetics products and I'd heard great things about this hair conditioner. Some of the predominant ingredients in this are honey, vanilla and strawberries. I was expecting a really nice strawberries and cream scent to this, but it just smelt a bit meh - nothing overwhelming, it was just quite boring. In terms of what it did to my hair - I was expecting it to be really softening and to make my hair nice and silky. It actually made my hair really squeaky and didn't really do anything for the softness and texture. It's strange because I've heard so many good things about this conditioner, so it was a shame that I disliked it this much!
Overall, I'd give this a 1.5/5

And that's all for today! Have you tried any of these products - what did you think of them?
