Beauty Box: Look Incredible August 2016

Ok, can I just start off by being a cliche beauty blogger and saying 'where has this past month gone???' It's already August and I have just received my second Look Incredible deluxe beauty box. If you missed my first box, with a review and swatches you can find it here
I was super impressed with the July box and was eagerly looking forward to my second one arriving.

I figured, whilst I'm here I can do a little post review of my first box and how I'm finding/getting on with the products. Since they're all full size, there's nooooo way I'd be able to use all of them up in a month but I'm enjoying having them in my collection!

1. Benefit Dew The Hoola Liquid Bronzer: In my post I mentioned that I probably wouldn't get much use out of this product since the shade for me is wayyyy too close to my skin tone. Ironically, I actually use this every day! I've been mixing this in with my foundation (dotting on my foundation, then dotting on a pump or 2 of this) and it's actually given a really nice finish to my base. It's fresh, dewy and lasts all day, even with setting powder and spray. It also smells really nice, like that sun tan lotion, holiday smell.
2. Georgio Armani Blushing Fabrics in #2: I really like this blush for days where I'm not wearing too much make up but still want that 'pinched cheeks' look. It's super easy to use, long wearing and there's no faff to it which is why I always steer clear of liquid/creme blushes
3. Ultrasun Aftersun: As I mentioned in my first post, I rarely get burnt/am rarely out in the sun for long periods of time without a high SPF, but I've let some of my more mayonnaise blessed friends use this and they've said it's very cooling, moisturising and has helped soothe any sunburn or post sun peeling.
4. Bioderma Hydrabio Riche Moisturising Cream: I haven't actually gotten round to using this properly, but I did try it out for a couple of days and it's really lightweight, nourishing and sits really well under my make up
5. Mac Viva Glam Miley Cyrus 2 lipstick: I mentioned in my post that this was very similar to Lady Danger by Mac and it still is on my skin tone. It's more of a warmer tone and wears a bit nicer on my lips than Lady Danger so I'll end up keeping this and not gifting it (soz)

Ooooookay, now onto August's box! As before, this box comes with 5 full size high end products.

Box worth: £90.00
What I paid: £35.00

Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm in Plumped Up Peony
£19.00

The Clinique chubby stick's aren't new in the beauty world, they always feature on a beauty bloggers favourites list and I feel like with good reason. They're a solid stick of creme blush, and give a nice wash of almost glossy colour. This shade is a really nice plummy maroon and I think will look really nice throughout the year. I think I'll like this as a lip balm as well for those lazy days, and I'm always here for a product that I can use for multiple things!

Too Faced La Creme Color Drenched Lipstick in Razzle Dazzle Rose
£18.00

Another product that isn't new in the beauty world, this is a cult favourite, so I was really pleased to see this little one in the box! They're a really nice, comfortable balm consistency lipstick but with amazing pigmentation. This shade is a really nice rosy, dusky, light pink and not something I would usually pick out for myself but I really like the colour!

Benefit Hervana Ultra Plush Lip Gloss
£14.50

Benefit's Hervana blush is renowned for it's pink flush of colour and the glosses are just as pretty. This is a really nice, dusky pink shade. The gloss doesn't feel sticky, tacky or lumpy and there's no glitter in it, so no chunky feeling on your lips. I'm personally not a gloss kinda person (British weather combined with long hair is not gloss friendly) so I'll most likely gift this to my sister who is embracing her mid teens and braving the make up world.

Giorgio Armani Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in #5 Copper
£22.00

I was really pleased to see another Giorgio Armani product in here since I was so pleased with the last one. (Please, £22.00 for an eyeliner though, the audacity) This is a really nice coppery (see what I did there) pencil eyeliner shade which I think will really brighten up an eye look if used on the inner corner and waterline. It feels super creamy, is very pigmented and claims to be waterproof (we'll see how well this fairs after a Romeo and Juliet and Titanic marathon), so I'm looking forward to playing with this one.

Elemis Pro Collagen Hydra Gel Eye Mask (x2)
£16.50

I totally didn't realise there were 2 packs of these! I assumed it was one eye mask per sachet, but I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered there were 2 per pack. These are those gel eye masks that are packed with nutrients and vitamins and you place them under your eyes to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These ones have plankton extract, Padina Pavonica, hyaluronic acid and Chlorella in them which are all really good for tightening, firming and lifting. These feel really nice under the eyes and are incredibly cooling.

(Elemis Gel Eye Masks ft Rosey Cheeks face mask by Lush Cosmetics)

Completely idiot proof to use (although there is no recommended time to have them under your eyes! I just did a face mask at the same time so I removed them the same time I did the mask which was around 10-12 minutes) They made my under eyes feel really hydrated and plump. I reckon you'd need a good few uses of these if you were to ever see any significant change.

Top to bottom: Clinique chubby stick, Too Faced lipstick, Benefit gloss, Giorgio Armani eyeliner

Wearing Clinique chubby stick, Georgio Armani eyeliner, Too Faced Lipstick

The Clinique chubby stick was so easy to apply! I dabbed it onto the apples of my cheeks directly from the tube and blended it in by patting it with my finger. This lasted all day on my skin and didn't fade or oxidise.
I am so impressed with the Giorgio Armani eyeliner - I gave it the true test of it being 'waterproof' by wearing it on my waterline, where eyeliners seem to disappear, but this held up really well and lasted all day. The gold, coppery shade really brightened up my eyes and made them appear bigger - I think I'll end up wearing this on my inner corner and maybe as a base on my eyelids for eyeshadow too.
The Too Faced lipstick is a shade I wouldn't usually choose for myself, but this is such a nice colour! It's bright and pastel without being neon and has warm undertones. It's super comfortable to wear and feels like a lip balm, really nourishing. Since it's a balm like consistency it isn't very long wearing, and does smudge and transfer, but since it felt so nice on my lips I didn't mind reapplying.

And that's everything for the August box!
