Review & Swatches: Kat Von D Beauty London's Calling Set

*cries* Kat Von D Beauty is finally readily available in the UK. The line has recently launched online and finally entered the Oxford Street Debenhams in London. I'm a huge fan of Kat Von D Beauty and was lucky enough to be involved in a photo shoot for the Debenhams launch.
The shoot itself was super chilled and really fun and I had the best time playing with all the make up!
As a thank you, I was luckily gifted the limited edition London's Calling set. The set comes complete with mini versions of the Tattoo Liner in Trooper, Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Double Dare and Studded Kiss Lipstick in Lolita.

All 3 of these are cult favourites from the KVDB line so I was really looking forward to having a play!

Tattoo Liner in Trooper
Now, I've actually already used this after I bought it from Sephora but I lost it at my sister's house and it was never to be found again (RIP) This liquid eyeliner is in a pen form and the brush is an actual brush with millions of little bristles making it really easy to use. The formula is a nice true black and it's very long wearing with no smudging or fading throughout the day. I really like this liner for lining my lid BUT I cannot for the life of me do a wing with this eyeliner. I'm not sure if it's because I have creasy eyelids but it draaaaaaaags on my eye meaning my wings either end up all messed up or very patchy. Even pulling my lid taught (which I don't like doing) the liner still drags quite a bit over my skin and my wing is never perfect. Because I'm so extra I really like lining my lid with Trooper then using my trusty Bourjois Clubber Liquid Eyeliner in Extra Black to do the wing.

Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Double Dare
I'm a huge fan of the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick range - I'm a sucker for a liquid to matte lip and these are pigmented, long wearing and transfer proof: the Holy Trinity. This shade is described as a dusky rose and it's such a nice nude shade for my skin tone. I really love how it wears and it's definitely a My Lips But Better Shade. I like wearing this with a brown or pinky nude lip liner too as they really compliment each other.

Studded Kiss Lipstick in Lolita
Look at this little guy!! The Studded Kiss lipsticks are really cute packaging with literal studs on the bullet so this tiny version is so adorable! I have the shade Lolita in the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick formula and it's probably my most used nude shade ever ever ever. The lipstick version is definitely a different shade, I find that it's more pink based than brown. The formula itself is really comfortable to wear with a semi matte finish. It's not transfer proof but it's fairly long wearing.

This set is limited edition to Debenhams so if you're umm'ing and ahh'ing I would snap it up quick! It's a good opportunity to try out some of the formulas and products before splurging on full size items.
Does anyone have this little set? What did you think?

If you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to drop me a comment!
