Empties #19: Batiste Dry Shampoo Tropical, Loreal Infallible 24H Foundation in 260 Golden Sun, Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

Another empties post today! As I've mentioned a bajillion times, I've used up a tonne of products recently, so there's many more of these to come (sarryyyyy)

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical

Dry shampoo isn't new in the beauty world - perfect for us kinda lazy people out there who need to refresh their hair but don't have the time / can't be assed with the drying and styling. For those who don't know - dry shampoo is essentially ~compressed shampoo~ and it comes out in aerosol form. It's usually very white and essentially absorbs any oil or grease, refreshing your hair for another day (or few in my case)
Batiste is a really good dry shampoo brand as they come in many scents and hair shades (so you don't get that horrible whitecast in your hair!) This one is a tropical, coconutty scent which I looooove and it's in the original formula. I tend to apply dry shampoo first thing in the morning, then get dressed, do my make up, then rub it in with my fingers and comb out any extra whiteness. I usually lift my hair to really get to the roots so I don't end up with a head full of white hair. I feel like as long as you really rub it in and comb it out you won't get any white cast and it works really well to refresh your hair
Overall, I would give this a 4/5

Loreal Infallible 24H Foundation in 260 Golden Sun

So I reviewed this foundation a little while ago here and I really really liked it! It's probably the best full coverage high street foundation I've tried. It's a really nice medium to full coverage, easy to apply, blends out really nicely and has excellent staying power. Now stay tuned for the downfalls. It's by Loreal which is a kicker in itself due to their awful ethics as a brand. And shade range is shockingly bad - this was their darkest shade at 'Golden Sun' and it was still too light for me. If you have a darker complexion you have nooooo hope - and I was in a fairly large boots with a lot of shade choices but nothing darker than this.
Overall, I would give this a 3/5 due to the rubbish shade selection and brand

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

Recently I made a Benefit purchase (I know I know, Benefit are a really awful brand who have rubbish ethics and do not represent PoC well at A L L), BUT it was worth it cause I love the product I got and I got this free sample of Roller Lash. I've heard really good things about this mascara but I resent paying more than like £6 for mascara cause I'm a cheap ass hoe. Saying that, this mascara is really good and I genuinely enjoyed using it. From the looks of it I didn't think I was going to like the plasticky wand; but it was surprisingly nice! The curve of the wand separated my lashes really well and coated them evenly in a dark black formula. I still don't think I would pay the near £20 for it, but it is a really nice product.

And that's it for today! Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
