Empties #20: Kiehl's Strengthening & Hydrating Hair Oil - in - Cream, Christian Dior Diorshow Maximizer Lash Serum, Lush Cosmetics Don't Look At Me Face Mask

I'm being a good girl and haven't lost my mind buying new products so again, I'm working my way through my empties.

Kiehls Strengthening & Hydrating Hair Oil-in-Cream
Way back when, I had some Selfridges vouchers burning a hole in my pocket and I'd heard great things about this product from Kiehls. I really like Kiehl's products for skincare so decided to try this little guy out. It's essentially a leave in conditioner that is designed for dry and damaged hair. It has olive oil and avocado oil and is meant to help strengthen and fortify your hair. This was a 180ml bottle and I used it every time I washed my hair and it has lasted me the LONGEST time. Since it's so nourishing you only needed the smallest bit and it really helped to smooth out my hair and make it feel more alive and healthy. It's also silicone and paraben free for people who have cut those 2 out of their hair care routine. I don't think I would repurchase this as I didn't see a completely magical change in my hair to justify the repurchase, but it was really nice to have in my hair care routine whilst I did.
I would give this a 4/5

Christian Dior Diorshow Maximizer Lash Serum
Ok. Okay. How do I talk about this product without coming across as rude? This product is pants. So so pants. This was another item I got with my Selfridges gift voucher and I really regret it even though I didn't spend anything. This is described as a lash serum that's meant to nourish and condition your lashes and prep them for mascara. Noooooope. This did absolutely nothing for my lashes, it did not nourish or condition, it actually really irritated my eyes. The white stuff was very clumpy and clumped my lashes together so applying mascara afterwards was a mission. The wand itself has plastic bristles which got jammed in the tube really easily and got all bent out of place. For some weird reason it also managed to pick up any form of product that happened to get onto my lashes and mangled with the white formula and made it look super gross. Overall this is just a really bad product and did nothing that it claimed to.
I would give this a 0/5

Lush Cosmetics Don't Look At Me Face Mask
You may have seen my little first impressions post for this face mask approx. 100 years ago here. Lush Cosmetics' fresh face masks all have an expiration date due to the fresh ingredients in them. They also need to be kept in the fridge! Personally, I can never use a face mask within the 3 week expiration date so I always scoop some of it out then freeze the rest. This mask was really nice to use; it had claims of pore tightening, moisturising and exfoliating and achieved all 3. Bright blue in colour with a nice zingy lemon fresh smell, this was really refreshing and calming to use on my skin.
Overall, I would give this a 4/5

And that's it for today! Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to drop me a comment!
