Beauty Box: Look Incredible January 2017

Firstly, apologies for doing this so late in the month - my MacBook was out of action for a really long time and I've only just got it back up and running. Secondly, you may have noticed that I didn't do a post for the December Look Incredible box. In all honesty I wasn't too impressed with the December box! Many of the things in December's were things I wouldn't use or products I generally don't get on with.

Anyways, moving onto January 2017 and they've finally sorted themselves out!

What I paid: £35.00
Box worth: £91.99

Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big - £28.00
I'm kinda getting bored of all the Too Faced products in the deluxe boxes? It would be nice to see a completely new brand! This little blush and bronzer combo is super cute and very pretty. I already own Ross & Rachel (you can see the review post I did here) so was glad to see the shade in Carrie & Big. A large orange/gold bronzer with a nice corally blush in the centre.

Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara - £18.99
Conveniently I'm running out of mascara so this is very well timed! This mascara is really well named as the wand bristles are super fine and soft and looked almost bent out of shape when I first pulled it out of the tube (don't worry, the bristles spread out once they were out of the tube) - the shade looks really dark and black and it nicely fanned out of my lashes.

Lorac Pro Powder Cheek Stain - £21.00
I've never owned a Lorac product before and have heard them hyped all over social media from their Lorac Pro eyeshadow palette. This blush claims to have 12 hour wear and the shade is a nice baby pink shade. I personally won't use this so will probably pass it on!

Bee Good Honey & Wild Mint 3-in-1 Cleansing Water - £10.00
It's nice to see some skincare items in these boxes! I had to actually read up on how to use this as there weren't any instructions/directions - just plugging the fact that you didn't need to use water. It's similar to that of a micellar water. You put some of this on a cotton pad/ball and swipe it over your face to remove make up. This felt nice on my skin but wasn't as effective as I was expecting in taking my make up off. I followed this with an oil based cleanser so it was nice to use as a pre cleanse but I definitely wouldn't use this alone to remove my make up.

Eucerin Even Brighter Concentrate - £14
I'm a little sceptical on this product. Firstly it's very smol, like 5ml of product smol. Secondly this product is aimed to reduce scarring and hyper-pigmentation but it seems that it has the same properties to that of a bleaching cream/ointment which I'm not keen on. It advertises it to be gentle enough for every day use and all over the face, neck and chest but I don't think I want to use this everywhere. Also this will last about 5 minutes if I put this all over my face twice a day! I think I'll use this for the times where I do have small amounts of discolouration or scarring or hyper-pigmentation. There's something that made me a little weirded out when the product description said 'decrease melanin production' (shout at me that I'm overreacting!)

And that's it for January's box! Kinda hit and miss in my opinion - have you tried any of these products?
