Empties #27: Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Perfume, Rose oil, Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturiser

I have a random mixture of things on my empties for today but things I have really enjoyed using!

Yves Saint Laurent - Black Opium Perfume
I looove this fragrance so so much. YSL do some great fragrances and Black Opium is one of my all time favourites. I received this small bottle as a gift for my birthday (it is pricey as hell!) but I only really buy perfume oils from The Perfume Parlour (if you want to read some more info on the fragrances I got from TPP or wth it is then click here!) The main notes to this fragrance are black coffee, white florals, vanilla and white musk - a really nice mixture of scents. The bottle itself is super pretty and a great statement bottle! In terms of longevity I don't think it lasted a huge amount of time on my skin and I felt myself reapplying fairly often throughout the day.
3/5 - great scent but would not repurchase due to the price.

Rose Oil
I'm a huge fan of adding oils into my skincare routine - they're nourishing, hydrating, healing and generally feel nice on the skin as my final step in my evening routine. I use a mixture of different oils as my evening oil treatment and rose oil is one of them. I personally love the smell of rose so this smells amazing for me! Rose oil is great for healing scarring, helping with discolouration, hyperpigmentation; it's an antioxidant so rejuvenates the skin and is a great moisturiser. Rose oil is one of the more pricier oils but this bottle was neat rose oil and not cut with almond oil (which these little bottles usually are - so double check!) When using oils that are completely neat make sure you use a carrier oil with them as they will be too harsh on the skin - carrier oils are oils like almond, coconut, avocado.
5/5 - would definitely repurchase

Clinique - Moisture Surge Moisturiser
I was lucky enough to be gifted this moisturiser and I'm so glad as it's pricey at £34.00! It's a really nice water based gel kind of texture - pink in colour, it's very light and sinks into the skin really nicely. It's hydrating and comfortable on the skin and I was actually really impressed! I've never used any Clinique skin care products but this is making me want to look more into their more powerful products.
4/5 - great product but would not repurchase due to the price

And that's it for today! Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?
