Empties #29: Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser, E.L.F HD Lifting Concealer, Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

I cannot belieeeeeve we are on empties #29! Kinda embarrassing that I've gone through this many products over a short period of time!

Maybelline - Age Rewind Eraser in Nude
This concealer is raved about so much in the beauty world that I had to see what all the fuss was about. Every time I have seen this they have only 3 shades of white, whiter and whitest. I went for the darkest shade on offer which was 'Nude' which was still veryyyy light for me. I used this and then applied a matte bronzer over the top just to get rid of the paleness. Tbh I'm not that impressed. I finished the entire thing and it was just kinda okay.

Nothing great, but not rubbish enough to stop using. I did have to go to that extra length to make it work on my shade of skin and the product didn't even make the effort worth it. It's a twist up product and it comes out of the dome shaped sponge applicator at the top. This kinda got a bit janky over time and I wasn't super keen on applying the sponge directly on my face just because of how it looks.
2/5 - would not repurchase due to the product itself and poor shade selection.

E.L.F - HD Lifting Concealer
I am such a fan of E.L.F's products and I love all the concealers I've previously tried from them. The HD Lifting Concealer was no exception! A small square tube with your standard doe foot applicator with some great shades to choose from.

This concealer had a really nice light to medium coverage, it felt really hydrating and blended into my skin really nicely.
4/5 - would repurchase

Kat Von D - Tattoo Liner in Trooper
Probably one of the most talked about eyeliners recently in the world of beauty. I'm personally not a fan of pen liquid eyeliners as I like to be able to control how much liquid is coming out and I find I have more control with a dip brush and pot. This pen liner is a little different in that it has a brush tip rather than felt tip.

The shade Trooper is super super black and I actually really liked the brush tip as it was easy to control and glided onto the lids really nicely. I had a mini version from a set that I was gifted and the original large on. I wear liquid liner near enough every day and these lasted me for aaaages. The only thing is I can never do a wing with this. I found it dragged on my lids quite a lot (I have creasy eyelids so that's why I much prefer a dip pot and brush applicator). When it dragged it would go into the crease of my lids and it was just a hot mess.
4/5 - would repurchase but just for my eyelids

And that's it for today! Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
